About

Oh me, Levi McGranahan

I build resilient and accessible websites for humans.

I’m a designer and front-end developer focused on building accessible, resilient, and performance-minded websites. For almost two decades, I’ve worked across agencies, higher education, and enterprise teams — focused on the intersection where design meets the front-end engineering.

What I Currently Do

I think best in the space between design and code. Whether it’s designing thoughtful interfaces, building component libraries, or writing CSS and JavaScript, I care about making the web more usable, inclusive, and maintainable.

At Indiana University, I’ve helped lead the creation and adoption of Rivet — IU’s first enterprise design system — and continue to push forward a new enterprise CMS (Cascade CMS) framework that will bring a modern foundation to hundreds of university sites.

This site is my personal lab — a place to capture notes, test ideas, and explore new patterns in CSS, JavaScript, and web design.

You can find me experimenting here, or over on Bluesky, Instagram, or GitHub.
